Hello North Bay Trout Unlimited Volunteers,

NBTU is sponsoring a workday at Muir Beach on Saturday, January 9th as part of the ongoing effort to restore the Redwood Creek watershed.  Redwood Creek is the southernmost stream in North America with active Coho salmon and steelhead runs.  The workday will begin at 9:30 in the morning and we should finish up by 12:30.  The work will include planting native plants and grasses in the Redwood Creek tidal lagoon.  We will be joined by 5-10 students from the Marin area.  If you are interested in attending, please RSVP to John Lucas at jolucas@sbcglobal.net.  Space may be limited.  Details will be sent out in a couple of weeks.  If you have any questions, please email me or call me at (415) 292-6285.
